The 40 Days for Life campaigns are held twice a year. The first campaign of the year (known as the Spring Campaign) always begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Palm Sunday. The Fall Campaign begins toward the end of September and lasts until the first Sunday of November. There are Kick-Off Rallies, Prayers of Blessing, Mid-Point Rallies, and Closing Rallies...

Check the local EVENTS page for the current campaign dates.

The 40 Days for Life vigil is held outside of Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. A peaceful prayer vigil is held along Tecumseh Road East where it borders the front of the hospital, along the public right of way (sidewalk only). The vigil is for 12 hours a day for 40 Days, seven days a week. You can sign up for an hour or more from 7 am to 7 pm.

Please consider joining the campaign to pray for an end to abortion. (clicking the word "abortion" brings you to the 40 Days / Windsor website)

Participation in 40 Days for Life has been a tremendous blessing to those who commit to weekly hours as often as their schedule permits! No one has to worry that they can't give enough or that the commitment is burdensome. Ask yourself what you would be willing to sacrifice for 40 days to save a child's life from abortion. We give what we can and pray for the Lord to bless our offering.

It would be wonderful to see the calendar filled with groups of 2 or 3 prayer volunteers covering the 12 hour days! What a blessing it would be for our community!

What a blessing when even one life is spared!
