May March for Life & Silent Vigil (Local)

Windsor's 2024 March for Life will take place on Sunday, May 5th. See below for details.

Every year, on the FIRST SUNDAY OF MAY, Windsor-Essex County Right to Life holds a MARCH and SILENT VIGIL for the mothers who are post-abortive, mothers considering abortion, and to remember the children that lost their lives from an abortion. We also march for those who lost their lives through Euthanasia. We usually have around 100 marchers (walkers)! But we should surely have more. Come and join us!

We meet at the basement hall of Immaculate Heart Parish (2153 Parkwood Avenue, Windsor, ON N8W 2J8 ) around 2:15 pm for Music, Food & Refreshments. Then we listen to an inspirational Guest Speaker before we head out on the March to Met Hospital (our local abortuary) where we hold a short silent vigil before marching back. A memorial wreath is placed at the site. This all takes place on busy Tecumseh road where the message is very visible.

The NATIONAL March for Life in OTTAWA is always held on the Thursday after our Local March. This will be on May 9, 2024.

The TORONTO March for LIFE will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024
